Have been suffering from Edema in my left thigh, both ankles and feet along with swelling on both sides of my lower back for well over 8 months now. My blood pressure drops to as low as 77/49.....81/39...... These are documented in the nurses notes of my most recent surgery.....Sept 17, 2014 for Trochanteric Bursitis. I am a 92 pound 4 10 56 year old who underwent neck surgery in June 2013 and recovered quickly and nicely. BUT.....since my Bursitis reared its ugly head again a year ago (initial diagnosis June 2010), my health has been going downhill. Please know that I normally a very active individual.......Yoga instructor....Dancing.....Lifting weights....Bike riding.....Skydiving....Ziplining....Rock wall climbing...... So desperately want to return to my former self! My primary health provider has been wonderful...exhausting all avenues ....Cardiologist, Vascular ultrasounds, thyroid ultrasound, kidney ultrasound, etc. All reports are normal. The only suggestion from the vascular physician was that it could possibly be low blood return in the veins. If you have any ideas I would be grateful.
