My little girl had grommets put in a few months ago and is now having problems with her ears bleeding and weeping a lot , she's 3 1/2 and won't sit still for the doctor to look into her ear to she how bad the problem is or if the grommet has come out and at my wits end and need help , what should I do for the best .
Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter have bleeding in ears on usage of grommets which could be due to ear infection, accumulation of ear wax, foreign body penetration in ear and it could be due to sinusitis. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin along with Ibuprofen. You should put Otogesic ear drops 3-4 times a day. You should take proper rest. If symptoms keeps on persisting you should visit Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and start treatment after proper prescription. Get all the lab tests done and examination with otoscope. Try to avoid use of any sharp instrument as it will exaggerate your situation. Maintain proper hygiene.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
