What Causes Ear Ache With Losing Of Balance?

hi a few days ago i had an ear ache its better today but i had something shooting down to my feet today and i felt very unstable i felt i was going to fall i ve had back in 2012 labyrinthitus its only in one ear its a very horrible condition loud noise, hormones, salt, caffeine too much chocolate starts it off but it was a lot better but i eat a large packet of crisps last night so it could be salt i don t know its a living nightmare i have been to see a specialists and had a head scan i m not deaf the said it might have been a virus which attacked my right ear. i do 12 hour shifts days and nights and i m an active person.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of ear ache with losing of balance which can occur due to accumulation of ear wax, ear fluid, ear infection to more serious condition like acoustic neuroma. Need not to worry. Maintain hygiene and avoid pricking it with sharp object. If your symptoms and episodes of earache are getting frequent then you should consult ENT specialist and start treatment after prescription. Doctor may order certain test like MRI , low and high pitched ringing, audiometry , CT scan to rule out conditions like hearing loss , exposure to loud noises , earwax buildup , middle ear infection. Doctor may treat it according to the diagnosis , may prescribe medicine antibiotics.
