What Causes Dull Pain In Left Side Of Chest?

I have a dull ache that occurs in the left side of my chest. I have had it for a very long time and I know I was born with metro valve prolapse. This ache is high above my left breast but not on my shoulder. Is this an indication that my heart is getting weaker or is it possibly angina?

they are scared by their doctors and patients also has impression thatshe/he has got some heart problem
please dont panic mitral valve prolapse never killd anyone !!!
just consult a good cardiologist
