I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain dryness of throat while sleeping seems to be most probably due to mouth breathing habit.. You might also accidentally breathing via mouth during the day leading to dryness in mouth.. Other causes of Dry mouth can be Salivary Gland disorders, Yeast infection like Thrush etc.
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations Can help..
As of now start chewing sugar free chewing gum.. Instil artificial saliva drops in mouth.. Sip on plenty of water.. You can also put xylitol patches in the mouth as it helps in maintaining a continuous coating inside the mouth and prevent dryness..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
