What Causes Dry Cough, Sore Throat And Heaviness In Chest?

I started with a sore throat on Friday evening. Which turned into heaviness in chest, dry cough which changed to phlemy yellow/green mucus. 1 week later I am still coughing.. but now I have these tiny bumps all of my face that are NOT red at all, my face at first felt like it had been sunburn and now feels very dry.

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of viral infection is more.
Viral infection can cause skin lesion on face.
This can also cause upper respiratory tract infection (URTI). So your symptoms like cough, throat pain, heaviness in chest is due to viral URTI.
So drink plenty of fluids orally.
Do warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
Start antihistamines and anti inflammatory drugs.
Antihistamine drug will also helpful in skin lesions.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
If not improving in 1-2 weeks than consult doctor.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
