What Causes Drowsiness During The Day?
I work 12 hr shifts (day) at a hospital. When I am standing, walking or engaged I never feel an "overwhelming compulsion to sleep.) While sitting however, (and especially while using a computer workstation) I often get sleepy. I'll keep my eyes open, and begin to nod off. Is this a common condition?

This could be due to not enough sleep during night time, try to get enough sleep of at least seven hours, then such feeling of sleep would be no more there, hope this information helps, take care have a nice day
