What Causes Drowsiness And Restlessness Along With Vomiting In A Child?

Caught my 1 yr old pulling wet toilet paper from toilet that my 4 yr old had pooped in and didn t flush. I washed her immediately but I have no idea if she put any of it in her mouth before I caught her. She started not feeling well that evening and puked a lot this morning. She hadn t gotten sick in 4 hours, but seems drowsy and restless. No fever either. Should I be concerned? What should I do?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have drowsiness and restlessness along with vomiting in your child. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sleep apnea , stress reaction , caffeine product , kidney disease , diabetic ketoacidosis , food poisoning or heat exhaustion. I would suggest you to consult pediatrician for prper examination . Doctor may order certain test like stool test , check vitals , blood test and take histroy . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants , anti inflammatory , antibiotics , laxative or omeprazole . Doctor may also order kidney function test . For now stay hydrated and stay calm .
