What Causes Dribbling And Burning Sensation While Peeing?

my husband has a hernia that he goes to the surgeon about on wednesday. urinating yesterday felt uncomfortable yesterday. today he said that it is burning a little when he urinates. he also said that he has dribbled more in his underwear today than the days before. he also said that the base of the head of his penis looks purple to him. what should we do??

If you had mentioned the age of your husband, it would've been very useful.
If he's above 50 years, he must see a Urologist,before the hernia surgery.His symptoms of discomfort, dribbling and wetting his underwear, all suggest, he may have a prostate gland enlargement. In that case, the hernia should not be operated now. Once prostate gland treatment is started, the Urologist will decide about the hernia surgery.Burning sensation may be due to a urinary infection, for which, he should get urine routine and culture test done.
