I Ave experienced a sudden onset of double vision. The first episode happened about a month ago, and the second one again last night. If I cover each eye there isn t a problem. I looked to my left and one image is on top of the other. I look to my right and it is fine. Each episode lasted 3 to 4 minutes.
it is to be seen whether mono ocular binocular diplopia it can be anisometropia progressing cataract it appears it is mono ocular since closing one eye it stops the episode last for few second field tracing is required. ocular movment should be noted appears left eye medial rectus is effected cause is refractive error astigmatism or myasthenia gravis. consult eye doctor for examination and diagnosis so that treatment can be recomanded
