What Causes Dizziness With Weakness And Bladder Infections?
Hi, my 73 year old mother in law has been having dizzy spells with weakness and bladder infections ,along with pain in her lower abdomen. She has been to several doctors, a neurologist , and finally had an ultrasound. The result of the ultrasound showed "something on her uterus". Do these symptom sound familiar to you and how concerned should we be?
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Dizzy spells with weakness is possibly due to low blood pressure and associated dehydration 2. Low fluids intake has led to dehydration and also to bladder infections, which is causing lower abdominal pain. 3. Ultrasound findings necessary to confirm about uterus. Possibly a fibroid. 4. She needs to improve her diet with protein rich supplements. More fluid intake along with blood pressure monitoring is necessary. Walking stick or caretaker support necessary to avoid falls. Not to worry, with good care, she will recover. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
