What Causes Dizziness With Anxiety And Panic Attacks?

I am 57 years old female. I have suffered from anxiety, panic attacks, hot flashes, more often chills lasting whole day. I seem to be temperature sensitive. My doctor has prescribed paxil in the past. I came off it two years ago. My main complaint is dizziness which I suffer more often. What do I need to do to live a normal life. Thanks.

Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

I think, you have generalized anxiety disorder and in that case, you needs continuous treatment with antidepressant with benzodiazepine. If you are still symptomatic on paxil, then either you need to increase the dose or combination of antidepressant. You can also try some relaxation exercise like JPMR or deep breathing exercise that would keep you calm. If you need further help, you can ask.

Thanks
