What Causes Dizziness While On Blood Pressure Medication?

I experience dizziness even when I am just sitting. It is worse when I am moving. My blood pressure reading is 150 to 130 with 85 to 72, and a pulse of 58 to 68 The only medicine I use is : 75 mg Effexor XR /day and 100 mg Losartan to keep BP lower.

Hi,

Your blood pressure is not well controlled. Sometimes it can cause dizziness.
I would advise you to see your doctor for reevaluating your treatment and also I would advise you to undergo carotid ultrasound,as the second cause for your dizziness can be blockage or narrowing of the vessels, which supply blood to your brain

Hope I could help you

Wish you good health

Regards,
