What Causes Dizziness When I Wake Up?

Recently every time I wake up from a nap I feel instantly dizzy and heavy, also a little feverish then I get hungry. After I eat something the dizziness starts to subside and I feel better. This also occurs right before I go to bed, the same dizzy feeling as I am lying down. What could possibly cause this?
