What Causes Dizziness And Vomiting?

Played golf in San Antonio about 94 and humid today with my girlfriend. She drank some water and a Gatorade during the round. As we were driving back to Corpus Christi, she asked me to pull over because she was dizzy. She threw up in the restaurant bathroom and outside by the car. About 30 minutes later she said she felt better. I got her an ice pack for the back of her neck and we drove the 45 minutes home. Since arriving, she has been experiencing the dry heaves and is still complaining of dizziness. I have the ice back on her neck and she is sitting in a cool bathtub. I have asked if she wants me to call 911 but she does NOT! Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of dizziness and vomiting. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like low glucose level , food allergy , inner ear problem , or low blood pressure along with other circulatory problems . I would suggest you to consult general physician for proper evaluation of the condition . Doctor may order test like blood test for glucose level , sleep study test for sleeping apnea or refer you to ENT specialist for inner ear checkup and order CT scan or examine with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , antiemetic drug along with anti inflammatory for inner ear . For now take proper rest and avoid bending forward .
