Hello dear. Welcome to HealthCareMagic. Thanks for trusting us. I have understood your questions. May I know when you usually use trokendi? Did you use another medicine or supplement together with trokendi?

Trokendi XR is an anticonvulsant drugs which contains topiramate, is used to treat seizure, also as prophylaxis of migraine headache. The dosage that you have is the minimum dose of trokendi XR. 25 mg a day. It can be increased, depends on your symptoms and your response to the drug.

There's many side effects of trokendi, such as dizziness, fatigue, nervousness, nausea, motoric slowing and anorexia. The other minor effects are abdominal distress, mood problem, muscles weakness and in-coordination, somnolence and many more. What you felt above are usually caused by trokendi XR.

Here are some points to be your concerns:
1. Please maintain plenty water drinking to lower kidney stone risk
2. Avoid alcohol use, it can increase the side effect
3. If you consume another medicine, please tell your doctor. They may have interactions with trokendi.
4. Keep an eye of decreasing sweat or urine, visual impairment, very high fever, or neuropsychology symptoms. If these happen, meet your treating doctor soon, also if the side effects you have really bother and get worsen. You may need dosage adjustment.
5. Do not stop using trokendi suddenly, or lower the dosage without your doctor's permission. It may cause withdrawal syndrome that may harm for yourbody. Since trokendi is a prophylaxis agent for migraine, it should be titrated gradually.

Hope this can be useful to resolve your problems. If you have another question, feel free to ask me in HealthCareMagic. I'd be glad to help you. I hope you get well very soon. Take care.

Regards,
dr. Asti Yuliadha
