Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. He was on Ambien or Zolpidem and then was advised to take Clonazepam and Fluoxetine 20 mg. Fluoxetine is a SSRI drug in some individuals may develop increased dizziness and problem of imbalance and restlessness especially during first week of therapy while on this drug. As he is having persistent dizziness and is showing symptoms like change in eyesight or blurred vision, difficulty in talking etc and this shouldn't be ignored. Please report to his doctor and take proper opinion. Some times other SSRIs instead of Fluoxetine can help. Sertraline, Paroxetine are relatively better tolerated as compared to Fluoxetine. Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
