Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

I carefully read your question and understand your concern.

I would explain that her symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection.

Her back pain could be related to myalgia, which is a common complication of flu infection.

Has she taken acetaminophen during these days?
It can lead to transitory elevation of liver enzymes.

I recommend to take some rest and painkillers like ibuprofen or naproxen for the pain.

If the problem persists, I would recommend consulting with a gastroenterologist and perform further tests to examine her liver function.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Best wishes,
Dr. Aida
