What Causes Dizziness And Imbalance With Light Sensitivity?

My 70-year-old aunt in Canada is 6 months post bilateral cataract surgery but still has frequent bouts (every 2 to 3 days) of dizziness, feeling of imblance and light sensitivity. Follow up by her ophthalmologist (not while she was experiencing those symptoms) stated to be normal. What could be the cause?
