What Causes Distension With Diarrhea?
My 22mo old grand-daughter has had diarrhea for 3days and abd distension; however, she is afebrile, playful, and taking nourishment. I am a nurse and am concerned about the distension. She is a petite child weighing between 19 and 20lbs. Is there anything serious that could be causing this distension?
