What Causes Discomfort In Ears After Exposure To Loud Noise?
Went to a party last night and was pretty close to the speaker. My ears feel pretty muffled right now but don't have a ring to them. I feel like they are getting better than they were last night but I just want to make sure it's just temporary. What do you think?
I have read the query and in my opinion improvement of symptoms without any tinnitus as suggested by you indicates that you had a temporary impact on the inner ear due to the loud noise causing muffling of sounds.Don't worry the audibility will improve gradually.I advice you to get an audiometry test done after consulting an ENT specialist if at all there is deterioration of symptoms with increased muffling of sounds, tinnitus.
But I suggest you to avoid loud exposure hence forth as sudden loud noise has been known to cause symptoms like headaches, sleep disturbances, raised blood pressure.tinnitus and even permanent hearing loss.
Hope this answers your query.Feel free to ask any further questions.Take care.
