What Causes Discomfort In Abdomen?

Ever since I had my right ovary out, I get this weird feeling on my right side under my rib cage. It doesn t hurt but feels like a lump or something. It s been a few years since I had it out due to cyst but the feeling has been happening a lot more lately. Could it just be gas?

Hi thanks for asking question.

You are mentioning about some lumpin right side.I will advise you to first do your USG abdomen.

USG might reveal mass in liver or kidney if present.x ray also useful.

If any lump present in USG then USG guided. FNAC can be done to rule out whether it is benign or malignant or just inflammatory condition.

Sometime amebic liver abscess or simple cyst might present.

If USG and x ray normal then no need of worry.
Then you just have simple enteritis or flu.

I hope you will understand my concern.

Wish you good health
