The past 2 days I ve been experiencing a numbness type feeling in my left arm. Not pain, but just very uncomfortable and the sensation does not go below my elbow and doesn t involve my shoulder. I do not remember lifting anything heavy that may have caused this. I recently saw my neurologist for a check up on periodic electric shock type pain my legs. An spine MRI was conducted last year as well as a brain scan. They both came up fine and he said to follow up in 6 months since the Gabapentin he gave me seemed to be helping. I had blood work done very recently and the only items that were slightly low were Red Blood Cells, Hemoglobin, and hematocrit. What could be causing this pain, should I wait a few more days or call a doctor. Silly question, but if I call a doctor which one should I call, my Neurologist or Family Doctor?
