Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i felt slight discmfort in the chest few days back and the doctor told me to get an angio done.. the reports were normal. but after that i also got a tmt and a ecg done where the reports are not normal and the doctor told that there was some 1 second delay for heartbeat. is there anything for me to worry about?
If you have had the symptoms evaluated and found no underlying heart disease or dangerous rhythm, the primary concern is to relieve your symptoms and anxiety. A pause in the heartbeat that is worrisome is generally quite long, longer than 3 seconds. If your doctor wasn't worried, you shouldn't be either.
