What Causes Discolouration In Legs When I Get Cold ?

Hi. I noticed that when I get cold, my legs get a giraffe-ish pattern...
Also, when I sit on the stairs (my butt on one stair, my feet on the stair directly below the one I'm sitting on - a little more than 90 degree angle) my legs and feet start to turn blue.
Noticed at other times they started to turn blue also (does not depend on temperature). Ped said it was nothing to worry about, but that's bull.
My second toe on my left foot has been purple for a few days (haven't banged it).
I take provigil and imipramine for narcolepsy.
Any thoughts?
