What Causes Difficulty Swallowing When Suffering From Laryngitis?
I ve just been to the ENT for complete laryngitis. I m on antibiotics recovering from an ear and sinus infection. The ENT saw an ulcer on my larynx. He prescribed prilosec and prednisone for inflammation. Here are my questions: 1) Will apple cider vinegar help or hurt? 2) Will benedryl help or hurt? I still have lots of post nasal drip. 2) ENT said my voice might return by Monday. Other internet sources say that I should remain quiet for weeks. I have to speak for work (I am a child therapist). What is the best thinking on this? 3) I forgot to tell him that I also have trouble swallowing often when I eat. Could this be related?
