What Causes Difficulty Passing Stool After A Hysterectomy?
I had my hysterectomy 10 days ago I was having trouble going to the toilet to pass stools on Thursday I sat for 35 mins finally going but straining now everytime I sit on the loo it feels like my insides are falling out and my back passage up to my back is painful iam taking a laxative in drink every day to keep my stools soft but it is painful even to pass gas when sat on the loo
Hello I aappreciate your concern This could be due to decreased motility of intestine following the hysterectomy
In my opinion you should consult your surgeon for check up Meanwhile have plenty of dietary fibers, fresh fruits and vegetables Have plenty of fluids you may need to increase the doses of laxatives Hope this helps you
best wishes
