What Causes Difficulty In Walking And Concentrating On Skipping Lescol?

Yes, Doctor. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to consult with you. I was prescribed Lescol XL by my cardiologist. I have mentioned to him that I was previously prescribed other Statin products ( Crestor etc. and suffered muscle pains.) I had discontinue taking Lescol XL for a day now. I could hardly walk and concentrate with my work. Pls. advise me what to do.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Since you are not able to use the statins then you may need a non statin product. Examples are ezetimbe, niacin and fibrates.

You can consider speaking to your doctor about these options.

The pain should resolve since you discontinued the medication but if this is not the case then you should visit your doctor for assessment.

I hope this helps
