What Causes Difficulty In Standing Post A Fibula Fracture Repair?
Have typed 3 times & just as I near end you cut off,start over! Stop it pls! Is complicated! 2/24 trimalleolar tib/fib fracture. 3 surgeries incl ex fit on tib side. Internal fixation using plate w/8 screws (very fragmented) 2LONG acrews @ base of tib. Weight bearing began 5/8. 5/22 did obstacle course using cane-walking great! THAT eve just b4 dinner my walker was given to larger Pt. Took abt 15 steps & it collapsed inward twisting ankle down back,L. As I tried to rise, twisted same to Rt. BIG setback. 5 days rest, back to rehab. Now @ home

it should not since fibula does not have role for posture. use crapebandage. can avoid obstalecourse.
