What Causes Difficulty In Reaching An Orgasm?

I am a 37 year old male, with no diabetes, and for the past two years, I have lost the ability to have an orgasm. I do not have ED, and during ejaculation, I do not experience an orgasm. When I finish urinating, I still feel like I am not finished, but can t go any more. Sometimes, I feel pressure on my testicles. Sometime, when urinating, it is uncomfortable, but not that painful. I have already, gone two three urologists, the first had no idea how to treat me. The second prescribed 60 days of Cipiro & Flomax, that did not work. The third, Dr. Smith at UCSF prescribed Cipiro again, and alpha-blocker. I am running out of options, please help?

Dear user,
Thank you for writing to Healthcaremagic.
I can understand that though you can ejaculate, you do not experience the orgasm feeling or heightened sexual ecstasy followed by feeling of relaxation.
Pleasure of orgasm is considerably reduced due to drug abuse, myopathy, alcohol use, smoking, nerve damage and most commonly anxiety. Situational anxiety, partner related anxiety, performance anxiety, and pressure to ‘perform’ rather than to ‘enjoy’ is very common things which causes diminished supreme pleasurable satiety.
Urological issues are not at the cause in your case. I suggest seeing psychiatrist or sex therapist with your partner.
Behavior therapy and short term course of anti anxiety medicines works.
Wish you good health.
