Dear shortness of breath has many causes . It may be because of various cardiac conditions or may be because of lung pathology . It may be because of anaemia or obesity . To confirm the diagnosis we need complete history and examination if needed few test can be done.such as for heart ecg and echocardiography for lungs x ray and pulmonary function test and for anaemia hemoglobin level.after analysing your complete symptoms examination findings and investigation result we can reach at definite diagnosis for your breathlessness . So I would like to suggest you that you must consult your physician for further evaluation and management . Hope this will help .
