Hi, Thanks for writing to health care magic. I can understand your concern. Lack of fiber in the diet in one of the causes for constipation. Some times infants in that age may pass stool once in two days. If it happens occasionally it may not be any problem. If it happens regularly and child does not pass stool for days together then other causes should be thought of. You should consult your doctor at the earliest for a complete physical examination. Your doctor may order certain investigations based on the physical examination findings. Further management depends on the diagnosis made.
