What Causes Diarrhea, Stomach Upset And Fever?
I am have been sick the last couple days but I cannot figure out what I have and the best way to treat it/get over it. My first symptom was diarrhea and an upset stomach, then later that first night I got the chills and up to a 102.4 fever. Currently my fever is gone but I still have diarrhea and an occasional upset stomach. What could this be and how can I recover from it faster?

It can take a few days for infections of the gastrointestinal tract to resolve.
Infection is the most common cause for acute vomiting and diarrhea.
The use of paracetamol would help with the fever and any discomfort.
The use of probiotics may help to increase the speed of resolution along with other medications such as lomotil or pepto bisomol.
