What Causes Diarrhea, Stomach Cramps And Back Pain?

I was recently in the ER due to a severe prolonged case of diarhea, stomach cramps and right back flank pain. I ve had a full colectomy and have a jpouch (6yrs. ago)...the ER docs diagnosis was pouchitis or Cdif but neither are confirmed. I feel much better after the antibiotics they gave me in the ER. Do I still need to go back for a follow up? I can hardly afford another bill.

Hello
If the diarrhea and the pain have resolved then I see no need for a follow up visit for now. If not, or, if the symptoms return, you do need to be re-evaluated
