What Causes Diarrhea And Dizziness?

My husband had diarrhea but no vomiting his blood pressure was 85/46 at 4:30 today it has gradually come up at 10:00 tonite it was 123/55 he has a history of dehydration. I believe he has some kind of bug. He is lightheaded and has been all day. Please tell me if I need to be worried.

make sure he stays hydrated, if the infection has caused him to lose that much fluid, hydration should be your main concern. some infections are self limiting and patients recover in a day or two, but if he continues to lose fluid it would be better to take him to the ER. after the infection subsides make sure he takes soft diet as the intestines become fragile after an infection
