What Causes Diarrhea Along With Fever?
my grandson has had flue-like symtoms since tues. , 4 days. started with vomiting, later that day dirrareha till now. he eats alittle, drinks ok, but soon after taking in anything he goes to the bathroom. it s mostly watery diarrhea . he had a fever one day, 101.8, the highest. I am concerned about the diarrhea.

As you describe in your query diarrhea along with fever in children occur due to food poisoning , bacterial and parasitic infections .Most of the time it will go away by its own in 3-5 days if we manage it properly.
The most dangerous complication of diarrhea is dehydration .So its very important that you rehydrate your garndson with time to time .Oral rehydration solution is best for this purpose ,any other liqued will also be help full .
Give your grandson a proper rest .As far as diet is concern avoid too much oily food and give him rice banana and bread toasts .
High fever in case of diarrhea is matter of concern .101.8 fever is on the higher side as far as children is concern . So you should visit general physician if symptoms do not subside .
For now you can give him lopramide for frequent stools and paracetamol for fever .
