What Causes Delayed Periods?

Last menstruated 4/3/17, had sex on 4/9. No spotting or bleeding since, having many symptoms but negative blood and HPT on 5/16/17. Dr did ultrasound and said the lining is consistent with pregnancy but might have been too early to see the sac. Not feeling any period like cramping just pain in my back down legs (inside of thighs too). Not sure what to think at this point? I have never missed a period before this.

Hi I think you should wait for one more week and repeat the test. If negative, you can take some medicines like meprate or deviry for inducing periods. It can happen due to some stress factor sometimes.Hope it helps.
