What Causes Delayed Periods While On Mirena?

Hi I ve been on mirena for over a year now and I haven t gotten my period since February of 2016, yesterday I had light pink blood when I wiped- just wondering if this is normal since it has never happened before to me. I ve also had some cramping lately

Hi I think it can be a side effect of Mir. It is called as breakthrough bleeding. But get yourself evaluated by a gynecologist to rule out any cervical pathology or infections. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Hope it helps.
