What Causes Delayed Periods While On Depo Provera Birth Control?

I started Depo Provera birth control shot and afterwards when the shot wore off i did not get my period. Soon after i started birth control pills and i was informed that on the last week i should get my period on the sugar pills but i have not got it. Should i be concerned of pregnancy?

Hi..Can understand your concern.As per your query about delay I periods while on depo provera shot is that birth control pills have these types of side effects like delay in periods ,or in-between spotting nausea vomiting and constipation etc as these are hormone regulated processes.You should not get worry as there is no or rare chance of getting pregnancy.I suggest you to wait for few more days and then consult a gynaecologist for proper evaluation.I hope you will get it.I hope the information helps you.Take care.
