What Causes Delayed Periods And Negative Pregnancy Test?

l had a iud in me for 4 years then took it out and started on the pill about 2 months ago. I stopped my pill a month ago and had unprocted sex a few times. We are trying to have another baby. It's been a month and I haven't gotten my period but I took 3 hpt and all of them say I am not pregnant. What's going on with my body? Am I pregnant and it's too soon to tell?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion urine pregnancy test gives accurate results if done after a week of missed period usually.But as it is 3 months and test is negative pregnancy might not be there.The delayed period might be due to hormonal imbalance.I suggest you to consult gynaecologist and take medicines for period.Dont worry.After the periods you can plan pregnancy.If irregularity continues then thyroid abnormalities,overweight or obesity or stress to be ruled out.
