What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Thick White Vaginal Discharge?
Hello, I had unprotected sex over a week ago right before I was due to get my period. My period did not come, I waited a full week after my due date. The past few days I have had pressure in my ovaries. Took a pregnancy test (2 days ago) and it was negative, yesterday I took plan B. Today I had a lot of thick white discharge, could that be from plan b or that I really am pregnant but hormones have not come into play yet?

I understand your concern
Chance of pregnancy is less as you have dis sex in the safe period of cycle.
I advise you to go for pregnancy test and or blood HCG when your period is delayed by 8-10 days from normal expected period date because in early 7 days it will give false negative result.
If tests will be negative then no pregnancy.
Other cause of delayed period like hormonal imbalance, ovarian cyst/PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid problem should be rule out by consulting the gynecologist.
White discharge could be effect of plan B pill, vaginal infections and preparedness stage of period.
Vaginal infections should be diagnosed by vaginal swab test and urine test.
Your period may be delayed due to plan B pill as it cause prolonagtion of second phase of cycle.
Plan B tablet helpful in preventing the pregnancy only with in 72 hour sex.
MAINTIN PROPER PELVIC HYGIENE BY USING V- VAGINAL PLUS WASH.
AVOID STRESS, DO REGULAR EXERCISE AND TAKE HEALTHY DIET.
Period can be induced by progesterone tablet in absence of pregnancy.
