What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Nausea And Fatigue?

I m not technically TTC but not trying to prevent it either. I was on the Depo off and on for 8-9 years, my last shot being in August of 2015. I had the Paragard IUD after that (starting in Dec of 2015) and had that removed this January. I never had periods with the Depo and I was never super regular when I had the IUD. I always got them with the IUD but my cycle lengths were always different. I bled for a week or so after getting my IUD removed in Jan, I skipped my period completely in February (but was not pregnant), had a 4 day period in March, and then what seemed to be a normal one in April (except for the fact that that was a 40 day cycle length). I started to feel a little bloated and had cramping and just assumed I was about to start my period but I was supposed to start May 27 and still haven t. I am now 6 days late which isn t totally out of the ordinary for me but I also have nausea, fatigue, my nipples are very tender and seem to be at attention at all times, and all of a sudden cucumbers and coffee make me want to puke. I ve gotten 3 negative HCG tests though so I m not sure what to think. I ve had my fair amount of stress this year so I know that may have to do with it, I m just curious if there s any possibility I might still be pregnant.

Hi I think if your pregnancy test is negative, you are not pregnant. It can be due to some stress factor or hormonal imbalances. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods. You can take some medicines like meprate or deviry for inducing periods. You may need ovulation induction with timed intercourse for conceiving. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
