What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Frequent Urination And Stomach Cramps?

Hello. I missed my period Mon, Dec. 11th. I had frequent urination and i am still having minor cramps and stomatch tenderness. I took 2 pregnancy tests and the lines came were very faint. I went to the Doctor Thursday and they did an ultrasound. She said my endometrium has thickened but to come back in a week to see if a sac has formed. They also did a blood test but I won t get the results until monday. I was anxious and worried so I took another test and it came back negative. Now I extremely worried and stressed.

Hello,
I can understand your concern. In a normal 28-30 day cycle, home pregnancy test can read well if performed with a fresh early morning sample of urine 3-7 days after the missed period. Estimation of serum beta-hCG can be done as early as the last week before the expected period. In some cases, the rise in hormone levels after conception is slow and hence, serial titres and sonograms become necessary before a conclusion can be arrived at.
