What Causes Delayed Period Despite Having Primolut N?

hi
i m 24, unmarried (and not sexually active) with diagnosed PCOD
used to take glucophage, aldactone and diane35 almost 8-9 months back..took them for 10 months and had regular periods.
wt loss was around 8 kgs.
without medicine: i had longer cycles, but did have cycles every month.
I did not however, have my monthly cycle for the past 2 months. took primolut n, and its the 5th day now, and i didnt have the withdrawal bleeding.
Is there something i should be worried about? or should i wait?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,Welcome to the HCM
Since you have been getting medicines for PCOD for past 8 to 9 months I would like to know that what was the reason you stopped medicines.Has your repeated Ultrasound shown normal ovaries. If not then secondary ammenorrhea can be caused by PCOD and stress .
My opinion would be get blood estrogen and progesterone level and discuss further with the gynaecologist.
You may get periods after some days but it has to be ruled out the cause of secondary ammenorrhea.
