Hello,
Thanks for letting us know your health concern. I have gone through your query and would like to offer my opinion. If you have always had regular menstrual cycles and are sexually active, you have to suspect pregnancy in the first place. Home pregnancy tests read well when performed 3-7 days after the missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine. An estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres gives and earlier and better clarification. If negative, hormone imbalance is suspected and managed accordingly after a proper appraisal of the situation. Hope this helps.
