What Causes Delayed Menstruation Post Intake Of Unwanted 72?

Hello Doctor. I need a suggestion abt sex and pills. Me and wife had sex and she took tablet to avoid pregnancy. in a week we had sex twice and she took tablets twice. Tablet name: Unwanted 72. Now her monthly periods is stopped from last one week. kindly help me wat action I can take.

Understand your concern
Unwanted 72 contain high progesterone that cause hormonal imbalance.
As you took tablet twice, high chance of hormonal imbalance.
It prolongs the second phase of cycle and that lead to delay in the period by 8-10 days from normal expected period date.

If period will delay more than 12-14 days, you have to confirm the pregnancy by pregnancy kit and or blood HCG as unwanted 72 has 5-10 % failure rate.
If pregnancy will confirm, then Pregnancy can be terminated by abortion pill up to 9 week of pregnancy under the advice of gynecologist.
Avoid stress and take healthy diet.
