Is Pregnancy Possible After A Salpingectomy?

I had both of my fallopian tubes removed in April of this year. Starting in November my period was 10 days late and very short. I have very sore breasts, dizziness, white vaginal discharge and my belly is extremely bloated. I took 5 pregnancy tests last night and one was positive while the others were negative. Could it be possible I am pregnant or have an ectopic pregnancy? I have no insurance at this time and unable to go to my doctor.

Hello,

First of all I would like to inform you that without knowing the cause for which your fallopian tubes were removed it's hard to say anything concrete. I would try to clarify your concerns as much as i can.

It's almost impossible to get your periods of both of your fallopian tubes were removed in a surgery. When your fallopian tubes are removed it means practically you are sterile and the chances of ectopic pregnancy are practically null.

Now my concern is if you have been having period like bleeding after the removal in April till November where did that blood come from. It's essential that you get evaluated to rule out other uterine abnormalities that could have caused you the bleeding. For eg- if you have fibroids then it might be a cause.

Seek medical attention at the earliest possible.
