What Causes Delay In Periods?

I am 7 days late on my period. 2 days ago I had slimy pink discharge only on TP when I wiped and only ladted a few hours. I have occasional cramps at night but fine during the day. I don't have any other symptoms. Pregnancy test was negative. Could I be pregnant?

Delay in periods is a very common symptom in females. Apart from pregnancy, stress , general Illness, Problems in uterus or some hormonal problems .

I advise you to wait for 1 week more and if your periods still doesn't start then repeat Urine Pregnancy test again . If it comes negative then you will require some hormonal tests and Ultrasound abdomen scan .

Delayed period by 7 days may be normal with many female. But the timing of periods varies from lady to lady. If your period delayed on every cycle by 4/5 days then it is normal. Buy if you get your periods within 28/30 days then there is posibility of pregnancy,
Sometimes pregnancy kit result might be wrong as it is not 100% accurate. So go for another pregnancy kit test after 6/7 days if periods doesnt start. and if still pregnancy test comes negative then go for ultrasound to rule out pregnancy.
