What Causes Delay In Periods While Taking Depo Shot?
I've stopped receiving depo (last shot was due end of October) I've not had periods since I started getting the shot which has been about a year. Do I need to be on some bc now or can i wait until periods return and still be protected against pregnancy?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
Change in the menstrual cycle is the most common side effect of depo shot. You might have no periods for 3-4 months after given depo shot. If you didn't want to get depo shot now, use should wait for your period to come & then you can start using contraceptive pills. You can also use condoms anytime.
If your periods didnt come after 4 months or after january 2016 you should visit a gynaecologist
Hope this information helps Good luck
