What Causes Delay In Periods And Frequent Urination?
Im currently 2o days late. Im pretty regular and on time like clock work. I was expecting my period 9/21 and nothing has arrived. I have been having cramps, frequent urine and on day 15 I wiped and noticed a spot of blood. Never again just the 1 time. I took a pregnancy test on day 9, 11, 15 all come back negative. What are your thoughts/suggestions as to whats the hold up.
In absence of pregnancy, late period may be due to PCOD, ovarian cyst, hypothyroid state, over weight/ extreme loss, hormonal imbalance, extra mental stress or anxiety, emotional upset, eating disorder, high prolactin.
Here, I suggest you to undergo complete hormone profile (LH/ FSH, serum prolactin, progesterone, thyroid, DHEAS, testosterone etc) and pelvic ultrasound scan. Routine urine examination should be done to rule out urinary infection.
Review with test results or you can consult with local gynecologist. You may require hormonal pill to induce period.
Maintain genital hygiene, control body weight. Good luck.
